Key responsibilities
Develop and implement cybersecurity protocols to protect user data, content uploads, and payment systems.
Monitor the platform for security breaches, malware, and unauthorized access attempts.
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and system audits.
Work closely with developers and DevOps engineers to enforce secure coding practices and infrastructure hardening.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and global best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
Requirements
B.Sc. in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Security.
3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in SaaS or e-commerce environments.
Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a strong plus.
Strong knowledge of threat modeling, encryption, firewalls, and incident response.
